Gone With The Wind. Pulitzer's prize winner, successful movie, Scarlett and Rhett.....*sigh*.You could say I love GWTW (blog title. Hint, hint:~) so, I just had to post a favorite, and famous kiss between Scarlett and Rhett. And so, without further ado.......
Taken from pages 591 & 592 of Gone With The Wind:
"Scarlett O'Hara you're a fool!"

Personally, I think it was mostly Ashley Wilkes fault, Scarlett never stopped chasing after him. But that just me;~)

As for the covers, I like the old one. I like to see faces. lol
ReplyDeleteI think kisses are powerful. They are the first joining of man & woman in an intimate way. I remember old songs written about how you can tell about how a man loves you by his kiss. Not all are the same either. Some are hurried, some are slow - some hard - some soft.. some a mix... it really is a reflection of the people and feelings behind the kiss.
