A car, a camera and 12 hours of pure boredom! Part 1

Sorry if some of the pictures are blurry. A moving car and a little camera don't make for the best combination:~) We left NC about 11:00 am ( of course if my mom had her way we would have left at 6:00 am!). Stopped at Wal-Mart to grab some snacks and hit the road!

Get Ready....... Get set......... GO!
Sorry if in most of the picture, Sacagawa (our GPS) obstructs the view :~( Hey!, what can I say, we like history............and I was bored;~) Angela is holding out OK but, can she win against my lungs of steel? I know, I know! Get your laughs out now! ;~) Let's just say, I didn't win that time.
Must go towards the light! Some beautiful fall trees in VA. Enough said!:~) A ramshackle farm, also in VA.

A house upon a hill.

My sister, Angela, can't decide which station on the radio to pick. " La Raza, or "Biscuits with Bach?" Yes, those really are radio stations in NC!

  1. Oh my gosh! I remember those tunnels (we don't have them here on the west coast). And those hills with fall colors and the barn--lovely!

Glad to see from your recent post you made it safely. Maps...who invented those fold patterns??!!!

Thank you for visiting The Homestead Heart. I look forward to visits with you here too!

  2. Thanks Ms.Dee:~)
I don't know if it's just me but, I can't seem to find enough hours in the day to just publish one post. It's not so much the writing thats the problem, but the editing. I don't know how would ever make it as an author!
    Love Ya,
